The Joy-Con controller is a primary controller for the Nintendo Switch gaming console. It consists of two detachable units, each containing an analog stick, four face buttons (A, B, X, Y), shoulder buttons, motion-sensing technology, and HD Rumble feedback. The Joy-Cons can be used independently in each hand for solo play, attached to a Joy-Con Grip for a more traditional controller feel, or used separately for multiplayer gaming. They also feature an IR motion camera on the right controller and NFC capability for Amiibo support. The Joy-Cons are known for their versatility and are a key component of the Nintendo Switch's unique design, allowing for a variety of play styles and experiences.
