"Tales of Xillia" for PS3 is a Japanese role-playing game developed by Namco Tales Studio and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Released in 2011 in Japan and 2013 internationally, it is the thirteenth main installment in the "Tales" series. The game follows the story of Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell, two protagonists with intertwined destinies, as they embark on a journey to save the world of Rieze Maxia from a destructive force known as the Lance of Kresnik. "Tales of Xillia" features a real-time battle system called the Double Raid Linear Motion Battle System (DR-LMBS), which allows players to control one character in battles while the AI controls the others. Players can switch between characters on the fly and execute special attacks called "Linked Artes." The game also offers a rich narrative with multiple endings and character-driven storytelling.
