"Tetris" for the Game Boy is a classic puzzle video game released in 1989 and bundled with the original Game Boy handheld console. It's widely regarded as one of the best versions of Tetris. The game features the iconic falling tetromino blocks that players must rotate and arrange to create complete horizontal lines.

The objective is simple: clear lines by completing horizontal rows with the falling blocks. As players progress, the game speeds up, adding to the challenge. If the blocks reach the top of the screen without being cleared, the game ends.

"Tetris" for Game Boy offers both a marathon mode, where players try to survive as long as possible, and a 2-player versus mode using the Game Link Cable, allowing players to compete against each other.
