Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise is an action-packed RPG for the Nintendo Switch, set in a vibrant world full of majestic monsters to hunt. It introduces new gameplay mechanics and features while retaining the core Monster Hunter experience.

In Monster Hunter Rise, players take on the role of a Hunter in the ninja-inspired village of Kamura. The village is under threat from a mysterious Rampage event, where hordes of monsters attack its stronghold. As a Hunter, it's your job to protect the village and unravel the mystery behind the Rampage.

One of the standout features of Monster Hunter Rise is the Wirebug, a versatile tool that allows players to traverse the environment with ease, perform aerial attacks, and even mount monsters for devastating attacks. The Wirebug adds a new layer of verticality to the game's already dynamic combat.

Players can choose from a variety of weapon types, each with its own unique playstyle and move sets. From the swift Dual Blades to the heavy-hitting Great Sword, there's a weapon for every hunter's preference. The game also introduces new "Palamute" companions, canine allies that can join you in battle, rideable for quick traversal across the map.
